With Tigers 1 missing some key players, City 2 stood a chance of being very competitive, and went into the game looking for an upset.

Tigers were clearly rattled without two of their experienced players and City won a lot of intercepts and picked up quite a few loose passes in the first half.

Scoring was low for both teams with City struggling to put up many shots under pressure from Tigers, and our defence doing an equally good job in stopping last year's title holders from getting too far ahead.

At half time, City were only 2 goals down a 4-2.

Jack, coming on for Rob W, made a massive psychological impact on James, who didn't really put up a shot with our tall Cardiff import putting him under pressure.

Stand-out defence from Mary and Jonathan, in particular, shut down two of Tigers' danger players - Frances and Toby.

The concentration and control were evident right from the outset, and the players on the pitch certainly looked more relaxed than those of us on the sidelines!

An exciting ending with Tigers missing two free passes (phew), saw City 2 take the draw for a second year running.

A fabulous result and a real team performance.
