Cambridge City Korfball Club is the oldest and one of the biggest clubs in Cambridge.

We welcome all new members - beginners, inexperienced and experienced alike. Whether you play recreationally or competitively, whether you are at the start of your korfball development, or towards the end, we have plenty to offer.

City is a progressive, forward-thinking club, and was recently named Cambridge Sport Network Club of the Year and was runner up Club of the Year at the 2008 BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Sports Awards. It was also the first korfball club in the country to be awarded cross-sport quality accreditation Clubmark, and the first club to be awarded Clubmark by Cambridge and Peterborough sports partnership Living Sport.

We currently have a total of six senior teams. These are comprised of one National League team and five teams in the CKA Leagues.

We also have a thriving Juniors club, for children aged 7-14 (KS2 and KS3), and a multi-sport programme for Tykes for children aged 3-6 (pre-school to Year 2).

The korfball season runs from October to April, and during the summer we take part in tournaments in Cambridge, around the country and also abroad.

Club sessions are at Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre (Gonville Place, Cambridge - opposite Parkers Piece) on Tuesdays, 8-10pm. The first and second team squads also train on Thursdays, 8-10pm at Impington Village College during high season.

Matches are played at local sports halls around Cambridge.

The first training session is free, and thereafter you can choose to pay either on a pay as you go basis or on a monthly basis.

Casual membership: £30 membership fee, plus £3.50 per hour for training and £4 for matches.
