Korfball Olympics and Junior and Senior Awards Ceremony
10/05/09 > Juniors
Parents:During the Junior Session on Sunday 10th May (4.30pm-6pm, Hills Road Sports Centre)
Cambridge City Korfball Club will be running a Korfball Olympics. This
will comprise of mixed up teams of all ages and abilities competing in
a variety of Korfballesque tasks and games – some serious and some
silly to win the elusive Korfball Olympic cup. Teams will comprise of
juniors, seniors and hopefully yourselves.
Yes – we would really
like the parents to come along and be part of the teams. All you need
to do is turn up with a pair of trainers and some comfy clothes to Korf
in. You will then be organised into teams with some experts and some
total beginners to face the Olympic challenges.
This competition
will then be followed by an official Awards Ceremony to present both
the juniors and seniors with awards, badges and certificates they have
been working towards so far this season. The ceremony will be
accompanied by party nibbles / snacks and drinks supplied by the club.
This will run from 6pm till approximately 6.30pm.
