After a very very very narrow defeat to City 3 in their first game, City 4 had a very very very satisfying victory against Tigers 3 on Sunday.

Vanessa got us off to a good start with a "very nice long shot" (Jenni's words, official scorekeeper). After some time (10 mins?) , Tigers took a 2-1 lead but Rick equalised with a short shot only for Tigers to pull ahead again to 3-2 by half time. They quickly increased their lead to 4-2 but 2 quick replies (one short, one medium) from Rick brought us back into the game and then Cam weighed in with a brace of good goals to give us a deserved 6-4 lead.

Tigers threatened to come back at 6-5 but goals from Ashley (well fed by Rose) and then Andy secured a 3-goal win with several minutes to spare. (So we don't need to mention Ashley's missed penalty).

Sincere thanks to Jenni and Steve who supped and subborted on the sidelines, sorry, who subbed and supported from the sidelines, as did Nick.

Special mention also to Yan for taking care of the Toby the Torpedo and for Cam who dealt with Ewan (who then played the first half of the next game for Tigers I v Cirty II).
