City started brightly with Trace and Rachel both scoring early goals. Carla then scored the first of her five goal hoard, playing in her first korf game since recently returning to the country. A further goal by Rachel and three from Carla gave City a 7-2 scoreline at half time. They could even afford for Nick to miss a penalty.

The boys eventually got on the scoresheet in the second half, with Simon converting two penalties and scoring a drop-off, Nick scoring two goals and Rob W sinking a long one. Trace also scored two long shots and Carla a running in shot to make the final score 16-4 to City 1.

City played good pressurised defence throughout, particularly when Uni where trying to get the ball out of defence. In particular, Simon and Rob both limited Nick Buttinger's (the Uni danger man) shooting opportunities. In the second half City upped their game, winning more of the loose 50-50 balls and having some well organised attacks.
