City were beaten 10-14 by a competent Invicta team that will likely compete in the upper reaches of the South East Regional League this season. 

City made a customary good start to lead 3-0 while Invicta seemed to confuse their players with the wall - the ball being thrown off the court numerous times. 

The visitors had a good run of 7 goals either side of half time, and City were unable to overturn the deficit.  The result was a little disappointing given the way the match went, but the performance was an improvement on the previous week against Bearsted.
