Another posititive performance which unhappily ended in a narrow defeat.

City where a little slow out of the blocks and Lions scored 2 goals without reply to begin the match. However with a great deal of effort City rallied and scored a number of good goals to leave the score 5-4 to Lions at half time.

In the second half City continued to retain the ball quite well without threatening the Lions Goal as much as we would have liked and couldn't force a goal to put Lions under real pressure which enabled them to control their attacks and keep us at arms length and score a crucial goal to open up a 3 goal cushion.

City never gave up however with the final score ending at 8-6 in favour to the Lions.
