This proved to be a very tough match against an experienced Tigers team.

City started well with Su slotting in a short shot before even the timer had the chance to properly start. This was boosted by a perfect long shot from Rob N bringing City to lead 2-0. City then conceded a penalty which Tigers took advantage of and converted.

City were then awarded a penalty and unfortunately Phil couldn't convert, but shortly afterwards
Phil more than made up for it with a brilliant long shot lifting the City team, leaving City 3-1 up at half time and looking promising.

Second half saw Cam sub on for Phil and then a re-invigorated Tigers strolled out and quickly scored three goals, including a short shot, and a running in shot. City were starting to feel the pressure and then Ellie scored a running in shot to bring the score to 4-4.

But Tigers were flying on full throttle and scored another 3 goals, City battled hard to try and narrow the gap and were awarded a penalty which Cam converted.

The game ended at 7-5 despite a massive effort from City. In the end City were punished for allowing a couple of running in shots and a just couldn't convert all the chances we had.

But it was a great effort by all and very promising from the perspective of the number of opportunities we created.
