Two fairly evenly matched teams produced lots of scoring opportunities thwarted by missed shots and some excellent defending at times.

City spent a significant time in defence but scored some fantastic long range goals to lead for most of the match and were never trailing. A late effort by both teams to win the match failed to produce a winning goal.
