City came out on fire, scoring the first three goals and then extending the lead to 7-2. However, the team seemed to take its foot off the accelerator, and only led 7-3 at the break.

The second half started like the first with three goals to City before a long spate of play with no reward for the team's attacking efforts. It was just one of those days - plenty of chances, but the basket proved elusive.

A time out from Janine proved the kick start the team needed (that and the decision to let Mary and Lucy B do the attacking!). Two spot-on shots from Lucy B put some fire back in the bellies of City 1, and a period of controlled play saw the team do enough to comfortably win the match.

Rob W top scored with a very impressive 5 goals (though, Rob, it could have been 6!), and the only noticeable absence from the score sheet was our Saudi Arabian import.
