After a long and complicated journey down to London (due to lack of trains, tubes and road closures for Remembrance Sunday) City 2 got on with things and played excellently in a brand new hall in Central London.

Carla created lots of opportunities, scored two and won two penalties (converted by Andy). Andy also scored a trademark swivel in feed. At the other end Tracey scored an excellent long shot, Dave W a mid range shot and Jonathan also scored from close range. Score was 4-2 at half-time. Excellent defence throughout this match meant the win was never in doubt.

Bec 2 vs City 2

Sub: Phil (for Jonathan in second half).

Coming straight after the first game it was always going to be difficult for City 2 maintain their excellent form. However, we competed well in the first half and were slightly unlucky to go in at half-time 5-2 down after having some good scoring opportunities.

In the second half tiredness began to show and Bec 2 dominated to go on to win 11-3. Carla continued here excellent scoring form, getting two more and one more for Andy.

On the whole though a positive day for City 2, defending well throughout and until tiredness took its toll versus Bec 2 competing well against strong opposition.
