City 2 SEERL 10 v MK Bucks 5

Subs: Tracey (for Lucy B), Jonathan (for Dave R) and Ellie (for Carla)

A convincing win for City 2 SERL. Each of the four girls showed the way as City 2 raced to a 4-0 lead. Two penalties for MK Bucks brought it back to 4-2 before Nick got 2 (1 pen) to make it 6-2. MK Bucks made it 6-3 before Carla got her second to make it 7-3 at half-time.

Nick got two more to give us a clear lead at 9-3. There was then a long period with no goals from either side before MK Bucks scored, but Tracey got one too to make it 10-4 before MK Bucks got one more to make the final score 10-5.

A great fightback for City 2 SEERL. A slow start with no goals for either side before Dave W scored a long shot to open the scoring. Ice equalised before Carla made it 2-1. Then a bad run of 4 goals for Ice made it 2-5 before Lucy B got one back to make it 3-5. Ice extended the lead again to 3-6 at half-time.

The fightback started midway through the second half. Mary, Lucy B and Carla got us back on to level terms before Ice took the lead again at 6-7. Mary then got another to draw us level again. Ice then took the lead again at 7-8 before Antony, Mary (completing her hat-trick) and Tracey got us over the line as we won 10-8.
