A good win for City 2 given the very congested state of the Division 1. After a slow start when City 2 had plenty of opportunities they couldn't convert, Vikings took at 2-0 lead. City 2 quickly got it back to 2-2 with a long shot from Dave R and goal from Antony. Vikings retook the lead before Lucy H scored a running in shot. Vikings then led 4-3 before Janine scored a long shot to make it 4-4 at half-time. A much better second half performance saw City 2 pull away from Vikings scoring 5 consecutive goals. Rachel scored a long shot and Nick a drop off shot. Janine scored another long shot and Mary a short shot. Nick then converted a penalty to make it 9-4. Vikings got 2 back to make it 9-6 before Mary got her second to make the final score 10-6 to City 2.
